Behind The Care...
Alexandra graduated from Queen’s University in 2011 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Alex also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Throughout her career as a Physiotherapist, Alex has worked in private clinics and rehabilitation hospitals, working with several populations: from those with orthopaedic injuries to those who have experienced a stroke, brain injury or amputation.

Alex is a forever student, always looking for opportunities to learn and expand her knowledge to be better equipped to support her patients. Alex understands the importance of taking a biopsychosocial approach when it comes to her clients, and approaching any concerns they may have. She has always been interested in women’s health, yoga, mindfulness and meditation, and how they can be integrated into her practice.

Alex’s desire and passion to dive into women’s health grew exponentially while pregnant with her daughter. She sought out pelvic health physiotherapy and was able to experience, first hand, the powerful impact and value her profession has in helping those to navigate this incredible journey.

Alex finds it a privilege to accompany, encourage and facilitate her clients on their own paths to feeling strong (in all aspects of the word), confident, comfortable, empowered, and in control of their health.
